Why shop with us

A grocer, not a warehouse

We buy produce off local farms three times a week and pack it the morning it goes out. The dry goods are priced to be worth the trip you did not have to make.

More about us

Bought off local farms

Fruit and vegetables come from Nyanga, Mutoko and the market gardens around Harare, three runs a week.

Pantry and produce in one basket

The 10 kg mealie meal and the kilo of tomatoes travel on the same delivery, not two.

Bulk prices that are actually bulk

Schools, restaurants and churches buy by the sack and the crate on a standing order.

Replaced or refunded

If produce is not fresh when it reaches you, tell us that day and we fix it. No argument.

Our catalogue

On the shelf this week

Every line lists its pack sizes, its price and what is actually left in stock, so nothing goes missing between the basket and the doorstep.

How an order runs

From basket to doorstep

Six steps, and you only do the first three.

01

Fill your basket

Browse the shelf, choose your pack sizes and add them up. The basket keeps itself whether or not you have an account.

02

Delivery or collection

Give us an address and a preferred slot, or choose to collect from the store and pay nothing for delivery.

03

Pay your way

Card, EcoCash or bank transfer online, or cash to the driver when the shopping arrives.

04

We pick it fresh

Dry goods come off the shelf, produce is weighed and packed to order. Nothing is picked the night before.

05

Out on the run

Orders go out on the Harare run the same afternoon, cold and fresh items packed last so they travel least.

06

Check it at the door

Look through it while the driver is there. Anything you are not happy with goes straight back on the van.

From the kitchen

Recipes, storage tips and what is in season

Practical writing for people who cook every day and would rather not throw food away.
